During the holiday season, you can drop off gifts at one of our convenient Drop-Off Locations.
Gifts do not need to be wrapped, as our volunteers are happy to do that for you. However, if you'd like to wrap them yourself, it is appreciated.
During Christmas, you can adopt a senior and purchase specific items from their wish list via our Adopt A Senior page. For other seasonal or facility-specific needs, join our Facebook page for updates. If you'd like to create handmade items, please reach out—we'd love to hear your ideas!
Absolutely! You can adopt as many seniors as you'd like. Just visit the Adopt A Senior page and select how many gifts and/or stockings you'd like to provide. You'll receive a separate email for each adoption with a unique Donation ID# to label your gifts.
Our program matches you with a senior based on the facility's submitted requests. Due to HIPAA regulations, we don't receive names or personal details. Requests are processed in the order received, so we can't guarantee gender preferences.
Wrapped gifts are wonderful and save our volunteers time, but if you're unable to wrap them, we're happy to help. Please label each package clearly with the Donation ID# provided in your email. If a facility requests unwrapped gifts, that will be noted in your instructions.
We share all details provided by the facility. If you're missing a size or essential info, feel free to contact us and we'll do our best to get it. For additional personalization, we're unable to request more details due to time constraints and facility limitations.

Yes, children can volunteer as long as they are 8 years or older. Volunteers work in a warehouse setting, so it's important to wear comfortable shoes and layered clothing for safety.
Gift pickups vary weekly, and we may not know we need help until 24–48 hours in advance. If you don't hear from us, it simply means we didn't need extra hands that day—please don't be discouraged!
Yes! We're always in need of stocking stuffer items for both men and women. Think cozy, practical, or fun—items that bring a smile and a little comfort. Here are a few ideas to get you started:
- Lip balm, lotion, or travel-size toiletries
- Socks, gloves, or warm hats
- Puzzle books, playing cards, or pens
- Sugar-free treats or individually wrapped snacks
- Small seasonal decorations or cheerful notes
Yes—if your heart leads you to add a little extra, feel free! Just keep in mind that many seniors have limited space, and they're truly grateful simply to be remembered. A thoughtful gift goes a long way. If you're feeling generous, consider adopting additional seniors to help spread the love even further.
Absolutely—and we encourage it! A handwritten card or cheerful note adds a beautiful layer of connection and reminds each senior that someone is thinking of them. Feel free to include a kind message, a holiday greeting, or even a drawing from a child. Just avoid including personal contact information, and keep the tone uplifting and respectful.
Absolutely! We'd love for you to join our vibrant and compassionate community on Facebook: Allona's Angels Facebook Group

Unfortunately, due to HIPAA regulations and facility privacy policies, direct contact or personal delivery to individual seniors is not possible. However, you can include a handwritten card or note with your gift to express your kindness and make a senior feel remembered and loved.
