Volunteer Guidelines & Scheduling

We’re so grateful for your willingness to help bring joy to seniors this holiday season! To keep things safe and organized, please review the following before signing up:

Safety First: For everyone's well-being, children under the age of 8 are not permitted to volunteer.
Dress Appropriately: If volunteering at the warehouse, please wear comfortable shoes and layered clothing to stay warm and safe.
Flexible Scheduling: We'll reach out via email or phone if we need assistance during the dates and times you've selected. Since we don't require help every day and may only know 24–48 hours in advance, please don't feel discouraged if you aren't contacted.
Volunteer Type: Choose from warehouse work (wrapping, sorting, labeling), pickup (collecting donations from drop-off locations), or delivery (bringing gifts to facilities). You can select multiple types!
Availability Details: When signing up, please list all dates and times you're available, and let us know how many people are in your group (if applicable). This helps us coordinate efficiently and reach out when help is needed.

Please read and acknowledge the following terms before completing your signup.

Volunteer Agreement

Volunteers must acknowledge the following:

•Age Requirement: No one under 8 years is allowed in the warehouse due to safety concerns.
•Short Notice: Due to the unpredictable timing of gift drop-offs, we may only have 24-48 hours' notice when volunteer help is needed.
•Location: All volunteer activities occur at the warehouse (address to be provided later).
•Photo Release Consent (optional):
I hereby grant Allona's Angels permission to use my likeness in photographs or videos taken during volunteer activities for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, the Allona's Angels website, and other marketing materials. I understand that my participation in photos or videos is voluntary and that I may choose not to be photographed or recorded. If I do not check this box, I understand that Allona's Angels will make reasonable efforts to avoid including me in photographs or videos.
Note: Volunteers who do not consent to the photo release will be marked on the calendar with a flag or different color to indicate that photos should not be taken of them during their volunteer time.
•Release of Liability:
By participating as a volunteer, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Allona's Angels, its officers, agents, employees, or other volunteers from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me or my property while participating in volunteer activities, whether caused by the negligence of Allona's Angels or otherwise. I understand that volunteering involves certain risks, and I voluntarily assume all such risks.
•Non-Employee Status and No Compensation:
I acknowledge that I am a volunteer and not an employee of Allona's Angels. I understand and agree that my participation is voluntary and that I will not receive any monetary compensation, wages, or benefits for my services as a volunteer.

Optional: I consent to the photo release and grant permission for my likeness to be used in promotional materials.

Required: I have read and agree to all terms of the Volunteer Agreement, including the liability waiver and non-employee status acknowledgment. *
