Who receives the items (type of facilities)
We focus on gifting to individuals who reside in local assisted living and memory care facilities. For a list of those we are currently serving, click here: Idaho Facilities | New Jersey Facilities.
How do you choose the facilities?
Every year, we make contact with the facilities in our community that we have collaborated with previously, and we also receive inquiries from other facilities. The facilities are processed for adoption in the order in which we receive gift requests from them.

What is Allona's Angels Federal Tax ID number?
Allona's Angels is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and the Federal Tax ID# is 85-1240574.
Are donations tax deductible?
YES! Allona's Angels is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and the Federal Tax ID# is 85-1240574. Depending on the form of payment you use, you will either receive an email receipt or be able to prove your donation through your financial institution.
What holidays do you collect for?
We will continue to gather Christmas donations via Allona's Angels in both Idaho and New Jersey. If there are any additional needs in Idaho, please feel free to reach out on our Facebook page, and our volunteers will assist whenever possible.
Do you accept handmade items like blankets, hats, afghans, etc.?
YES! We love handmade items.

Christmas
What type of items do you accept?
For Christmas you can adopt a senior (or two…) through our Adopt A Senior page and purchase specific items requested by that senior.
For other items needed by specific facilities please join our Facebook page HERE as these change regularly.
If you want to make some items for seniors please contact us using the information at the bottom of this page and we’d love to hear your ideas.
Can I purchase for more than one senior?
Absolutely! You are welcome to adopt as many seniors as you wish. Simply visit our Adopt A Senior page, and complete the form for each senior you wish to adopt.
Can I donate to a specific senior?
Our program is designed to gather personalized gift preferences for each senior residing in our assisted living and memory care facilities. Upon submitting the form on our "Adopt A Senior" page, you will receive an email containing the gift requests for a particular senior. Because of HIPAA regulations, we only have access to the information provided by the facility for the seniors, which does not include names or any additional details.
Should donations be wrapped?
If you are able to wrap your gifts that would definitely save our volunteers time and be appreciated. If you can’t, we are happy to wrap them for you.
If you have adopted a senior, please make sure you clearly mark each package with the Gift ID# for your senior and follow the guidelines on the email you received with your gift request information.
